Hi Everyone! I finally have a little time to update our blog. We have had an awesome year! It has been extremely busy though! I'll give a brief recap of our last few months....School has ended for the girls and I. Ashley ended with a 3.8 average, Ally ended with all A's and B's. We are so proud of both of them. I also ended this semester with all A's, keeping my GPA at a 3.6. Not bad for a working mom. Carl has continued to support us all, I do not know how we would do it without him-he is our SUPERMAN! He has coached MS boys basketball this year and helped coach Ashley's MS soccer team! Sports are a huge part of our lives. Both girls played soccer in the fall-Ashley played middle school basketball(they ended their season 11and 2.) Then, in spring Ashley played soccer for Middle School and for a rec. team. The Middle School soccer team went undefeated!!!(Go Eagles!) Now, Ally is playing coach pitch baseball and Ashley is playing softball for a church team-it is a lot of fun! So, as you can see, we spend a great deal of time either at some kind of team practice or at some sort of game. I love seeing my children excel and have fun at things they enjoy! We plan on keeping ya'll updated this summer....we plan on a trip to Holden Beach, a mission trip to Mexico, and lot's of trips to Carowinds(we have season passes) this summer. We began our summer with a trip to Mississippi, to see my Dad, and Bobby and his gang. It was tough going back for the first time since my Mom passed away. I really miss her a lot. We were able to spend some time with my Dad who took us out for some yummy Gulf Coast shrimp and had a great time with Bobby, Jennifer, Matthew and Makensie at Gulf Shores. I will post some pictures from the last few months. Hope you enjoy-and have a Sunny Summer!!!

Hey Shel, Carl, Ash, & Ally!
Your visit was short but we enjoyed spending time with ya'll.
Ashley, every time I make one of those rice cakes with choc chips, bananas & marshmallow cream on top, I think of you!
Oh and as is tradition, ya'll did forget something. It was something of Ally's that I can't really say b/c I don't want to embarrass her. But remember when I told you there was something of hers left in Makensie's room? Well, there was another one of those somethings left in my laundry room. I will hold on to that something until we see ya'll in July.
Love ya'll and the beach was fun! Oh and Shelley, I'm reading "Redemption". Oh my gosh, I can't put it down!
